Maine’s sexual assault support centers provide the following FREE & CONFIDENTIAL services:

  • Support and advocacy for survivors of sexual violence, their families, and concerned others, including a 24-hour crisis and support line, support groups, crisis intervention and information, and referrals for mental health and other community resources.
  • Support and advocacy for survivors who seek medical attention, report to the police, or engage with the criminal justice system, as well as support for their families and concerned others.
  • Community awareness-building and education for all ages and audiences on a range of topics, including root causes and impact of sexual violence; sexual harassment; drug-facilitated sexual assault; internet safety; and personal body safety.
  • Outreach to underserved people and communities.
